In May 2014, after a year of diligent work with the County of San Diego, the Lakeside Design Review Board, and the Lakeside Community Planning Group Lion’s Den Developers received site plan approval for the El Capitan Townhome project for the Lakeside community. This 4 unit complex was designed to be “eco-friendly” and cost efficient to build, as to provide the builder of choice a solid option to retain the property once completed due to the favorable capitalization rate or sell the units for a significant profit. Land entitlement opportunities such as these provide multiple exits strategies during the course of development. LDD pursues these types of opportunities for residential custom homes as well as multi-family and urban developments.
